Information on Westlaw Japan’s response to the New Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19)



We would like to express our sympathy to all those infected with the New Coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and those concerned. 。
We thank you very much for your special patronage. The following is information on our efforts to prevent the spread of New Coronavirus infection.
To prevent the spread of the New Coronavirus infection, we had been implementing staggered working hours and voluntarily telework since March. In response to the “State of Emergency Declaration” issued by the Japanese Government to seven prefectures in Japan on April 8, 2020, we have decided to limit our employees from coming to work and to strengthen the implementation of telework for the safety of customers and employees and for the prevention of spread of infection.

We will refrain from face-to-face meetings with customers and hold telephone, e-mail, and web meetings instead.

However, there is a possibility that you might have difficult time being connected to our customer support on the phone and/or takes longer time for us to respond to your inquiries than usual.
